Our Purpose:
United Women in Faith shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God
and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a
creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation
in the global ministries of the church.
The United Women in Faith meet on the first Monday of the month at 6 pm for a joint
meal with the United Methodist Men. The ladies prepare the meal every other month.
Then at 7 pm we have our meeting. You do not need to be a member of Manor
Memorial UMC or any church to join us.
The mission of United Women in Faith is to connect and nurture women so that they
can inspire, influence, and impact local and global communities. This is achieved
through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and
education. The organization's purpose is to turn faith, hope, and love into action on
behalf of women, children, and youth. Join us as we learn, work, pray, plan, and of
course laugh together. Bring your mission ideas as we work together to become the
hands and feet of Jesus serving others locally and around the world. We welcome all
women to fellowship with us each month.
